Episode Recap: District Furniture & Condo Tour in Lincoln Square & Ravenswood
On this week’s episode of Selling Chicago on American Dream TV, we’re taking a look at the vibrant Ravenswood and Lincoln Square neighborhoods in Chicago. We start by checking out some of the amazing local shops and businesses on Damen Avenue, including District, a neighborhood furniture store that’s been voted three years in a row by the people as the best in Chicago by the Chicago Reader. We then head over to to one of our team’s listings in Lincoln Square.

District is a great example of the kind of independent, locally-owned businesses that make Ravenswood and Lincoln Square such a special place. The store features a wide variety of vintage and new furniture, as well as art, candles, and other home goods, a lot of which are sourced from local artists.
District is committed to supporting local artists and businesses, actively donating to local charities. They also host a number of events throughout the year that showcase local talent, such as the Chamber of Commerce’s wine stroll and Damen at Night.
To top it all off, District is truly one of the our favorite (and highest recommended!) spots find unique and stylish furniture you can’t get anywhere else. They also offer custom furniture, so you can get a piece that’s perfect for even the most unique of spaces. They have a wide variety of vintage and new pieces to choose from, so you’re sure to find something that fits your style, your home, and your life.
After checking out District, we head over to one of our team’s listings in Lincoln Square. This amazing condo is located just a half-mile from District and all the other great shops and restaurants on Damen Avenue. It’s also walkable to Lincoln Square and Winnemac Park.
The condo itself has so much to offer, including a fun room on the second floor, a massive living room, a separate dining area, and an Eden Bar. But my favorite room is the Four Seasons room off the back balcony. This room is perfect for enjoying the outdoors, even during Chicago’s cold winters.
Through the right Two Door Group marketing strategy, this condo was listed and sold in days, and actually went under contract on the day of the shoot! The good news is, there’s plenty more where that came from, and this condo serves as the perfect example of the high quality real estate and surroundings you can expect when purchasing in Ravenswood and Lincoln Square.
