Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth, the Alderwoman for the 48th Ward; who talks about her love of her Ward due to its communal focus, driven roots, and even though it has a small footprint, it still offers its residents so many benefits.
Sydney Le, the Chef and Owner of Danang Kitchen. When asked by Jen who or what inspired her to begin cooking, Sydney shared that:
“My grandmother inspired me when I was a kid. Her food taste has always inspired me, and the reason I opened on Argyle St. is because I feel like Argyle needed different colors. As you can see, our food is essential Vietnamese food. Not a lot of other restaurants serve this type of food in this area, which makes our place very special.”
